The purpose of the role is to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the solar PV portfolio through performance monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis and accurate reporting. The role exists to maximise plant availability and energy production while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance. The role requires regular travel to customer and project sites, including overnight stays where necessary, and occasional out-of-hours support based on operational requirements.

An engineering degree, BS 7671 qualification, HV experience and relevant solar PV, inspection and testing, thermography, IPAF or PASMA certifications would be advantageous.
