We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start at our happy and caring primary school to support our children. The Teaching Assistant post is for 18 hours per week Wednesday to Friday, 8.45am-3.30pm, term time only. This post is to cover maternity leave for up to 1 year.

Salary: £12.85 per hour
Contract Type: This is a maternity cover term time only contract.

Working Pattern: 18 hours Term time only Wednesday to Friday
Location: Bersted Green Primary School

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• be passionate about supporting children's learning
• have ideally worked in a primary school before
• have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• have good literacy and numeracy skills
• enjoy developing an area of expertise for intervention
• have knowledge of the primary curriculum
