Lead a High-Impact Environmental Programme
We are seeking an experienced
Principal Programme Manager
to take the reins on a nationally significant environmental programme focused on remediation and sustainability. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping delivery, influencing stakeholders at the highest level, and leaving a lasting impact on the UK environment.
What You'll Do
Act as the
lead delivery representative
on a high-profile government-backed environmental programme.
Manage budgets, risk, and programme governance, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality.
Build and lead a multi-disciplinary team, inspiring collaboration and accountability.
Engage with senior stakeholders across
government departments, agencies, and delivery partners
.
Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice in programme delivery.
About You
You are a confident leader, equally comfortable in the boardroom and on the ground. You'll bring:
Proven track record
in programme or project leadership (£5m+ budgets).
Background in
environmental projects, remediation, civil engineering, or infrastructure delivery
.
Strong skills in
stakeholder management, governance, and risk control
.
Experience with public sector organisations (DEFRA, EA, local authority, or consultancy).
Immediate or short notice availability for an interim/contract role.
