Roofing Technician / Solar Installer

Are you an experienced solar installer or roofer looking to join a high-performance, mission-driven team? We re seeking a skilled Roofing Technician/Solar Installer to play a key role in delivering top-quality rooftop solar installations across residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who takes real pride in their work and is excited to help raise the bar for solar installs in the UK.
Lead the rooftop mounting and installation of solar PV systems (tile, slate, flat, metal, integrated roofs)
Conduct roof assessments and plan safe, efficient installations
Coordinate with electricians on-site for smooth handovers
Maintain top standards of finish, alignment, and sealing
Ensure full compliance with health & safety (Working at Height, PPE, equipment use)
Represent the company on-site with professionalism
Assist with stock handling, job kit prep, and warehouse support
Provide feedback to improve installation processes and best practices
Hands-on experience with rooftop solar PV installation
Knowledge of mounting systems like GSE, K2, Renusol
CSCS, CITB, PASMA or Working at Height certified
UK driving licence
Strong understanding of roofing safety protocols
A sharp eye for detail, excellent finish, and tidy cable work
Able to work at height and in all-weather conditions
Experience on slate, flat-roof or integrated systems
Team leadership on installs
IPAF or scaffold experience
Battery system knowledge or inverter placement
Comfortable with tablets/job tracking tools
Competitive rate - £150-£200 p/d
