We are delighted to be working with a leading but continuously growing FMCG manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire in their search for an Environmental Manager!
The business has recently invested circa £100m for general improvements within the production facilities, improving efficiency while ensuring sustainability and environment is top priority.
Reporting to the Industrial Director, you will be responsible for driving sustainability and environmental projects across 3 production sites.
Your Responsibilities:- Organise site audits on CSR topics when necessary.- Develop and update the Environmental Action Plan and provide guidance to the EHS team for its completion.- Plan and prepare the appropriate environmental forecast and assist with compliance with critical environmental legal and other compliance.- Provide expertise, support and direction to the EHS team on Environmental matters.- Lead internal and external communications on CSR topics.
You will need:- Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Environmental Science, Sustainability or related field.- Enthusiasm for environmental and sustainability practices.- Strong organisational and communication skills.- Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability principles and best practices.
