Head of Section Solar & Battery Storage Benelux, Renewables Northern Europe

In this role you lead the Solar & Battery Storage team for Benelux, shaping consulting services and ensuring high-quality delivery. You partner with senior stakeholders to advance customer relationships, project execution, and growth, while driving responsible use of AI and digital tools. The position blends people leadership with hands-on delivery, empowering the team to deliver sustainable value. You will translate strategy into action and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture focused on impact.

• Provide people leadership for a diverse team with clear expectations and growth opportunities
• Build trusted client relationships, shape solutions, and oversee high-quality consulting engagements
• Oversee delivery, identify risks early, remove obstacles and support demanding projects
• Manage operational aspects including resource planning, utilization, forecasting, quality and financial follow-up
• Maintain a strong sales focus, pursue opportunities, and convert them into steady growth
• Drive service development and responsible use of AI, data and digital tools to improve value
• Collaborate across sections, departments, and locations to deliver a consistent client experience

• Bachelor or equivalent professional experience
• Several years in consulting, professional services, renewable energy or similar client-facing environment
• Demonstrated people-leadership experience with coaching and accountability
• Experience with project delivery and operational management (planning, utilization, forecasting, quality, financial follow-up)
• Strong customer orientation with ability to translate needs into practical solutions
• Active interest in AI and digital tools with examples of impact
• Fluency in English; Dutch an advantage
