Plant Manager (Operations / Maintenance / Reliability) - Conventional Power / Wind / Solar Location: Remote UK
Role Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities

• Provide risk management advice through effective and objective communication, including evaluation of risk exposures and provision of loss estimates.
• Develop and implement tools to deliver the best possible solutions for controlling and reducing financial risk, focusing on knowledge, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain and develop continuous professional engineering knowledge and resources within areas of expertise.
• Enhance communication effectiveness and management relationships to maintain credibility as a leading professional and ethical insurer to clients, brokers, and the insurance market.
• Develop and prioritise objectives for performing visits within technical risk management programmes in collaboration with underwriters and insureds' management and brokers.
• Foster a continuous improvement philosophy within the team and workflow management.
• Expand knowledge beyond core expertise to support underwriting and claims functions through education and training.

Requirements

• More than ten years of hands-on engineering experience, primarily in power generation for large and complex projects, with progressive responsibility.
• Insurance engineering experience with a recognised lead insurer or reinsurer is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
• Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
