  • The Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of renewable energy projects, includingengineering design, technology evaluation, and technical due diligence. This role ensures projects are executedefficiently and in compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards. The position supports projectdevelopment and EPC execution primarily.

    Job Description
    • Lead the technical assessment, due diligence, feasibility studies and optimization of projectconfigurations for renewable energy projects including solar PV, BESS, wind, hydro and/or biomassprojects.
    • Evaluate site conditions, resource availability, interconnection options and system configurations.
    Design & Technology Evaluation and Technical Assessment for EPC Tender & Consultant Engagement
    • Oversee the development of project layout, sizing, and conceptual design for renewable energyprojects including grid connection during pre-development stage.
    • Review and approve system designs (preliminary, detailed, as-built).
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies in PV modules, inverters, wind turbines, and storage systems,among others.
    Project Execution Support and Compliance
    • Coordinate with EPC contractors and consultants during project implementation.
    • Review technical deliverables, such as drawings, engineering designs, specifications, andcommissioning plans from EPC contractors, vendors/suppliers and consultants.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in renewable energy project development or EPC.
    • Strong understanding of solar PV, wind energy, and/or battery energy storage systems (BESS).
    • Knowledge of hydro and pump storage systems is an added advantage.
    • Familiarity with design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, ETAP, Helioscope).
    • Knowledge of SCADA, remote monitoring, and grid interconnection requirements.
