Location
Central England, within 1hr drive of Oxford and West London, with UK-wide travel as required
Role Purpose
To support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems across Joju’s portfolio of public sector and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead in the electrical installation of solar PV systems
• Install and commission inverters, battery storage systems, and monitoring equipment
• Carry out electrical testing and inspection in accordance with British Standards and Codes of Practice
• Perform fault diagnosis and remedial works on existing solar PV installations
• Complete accurate site documentation including test results, installation records, and handover certificates
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements including working at height, manual handling, and electrical safety procedures
• Participate in structured in-house and manufacturer training as required
Person Specification
Essential
• NVQ Level 3
• AM2 end point assessment
• 18th EdiDon BS7671 Wiring Regulations
• Full UK driving licence
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Able to travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays
• Competent with IT including remote monitoring platforms and software-based diagnostic tools
Desirable
• Solar PV and Battery Storage qualifications
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• PASMA or IPAF certification
Terms and Benefits
• Salary dependent on experience (£38-£42k)
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by one day per year to a maximum of 28 days
