This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate HSE professional to join a business at the forefront of the energy transition, where you'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, develop high-performing teams, and help deliver some of the UK's most significant renewable energy projects.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead, mentor, and support a team of HSE/CDM Managers across multiple UK projects.
    • Drive a positive safety culture and ensure accountability for HSE performance across all sites.
    • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and spot checks to maintain high safety standards.
    • Lead incident investigations and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
    • Manage performance reviews and support the ongoing development of the HSE team.
    • Provide HSE expertise during tender submissions, PQQs, RFQs, and ITTs.
    • Design and deliver HSE training for site teams and operational staff.
    • Collaborate with Project Delivery and ESG teams to enhance HSE performance across the business.
    Ideal skills and experience:
    • Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
    • Several years' HSE experience covering construction, infrastructure, or major engineering projects, ideally with some in utility-scale solar.
    • Strong knowledge of UK CDM Regulations and site-based HSE management.
    • Experience leading or developing HSE teams.
    • Knowledge of incident investigation, auditing, inspections, and HSE reporting.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach.
    • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to project sites.
