Business Manager - Commercial Solar O&M

Lead and grow a technical service operation across commercialrenewable-energy systems.

Myriad Products is a well-established renewable energybusiness with over 20 years' experience delivering commercial solar, biomassand low-carbon energy systems across the UK.

We've built a substantial installed solar base and anestablished operations and maintenance service operation across our renewabletechnologies, and we're now looking for a Business Manager to lead that servicebusiness, drive the growth of our commercial solar O&M and establish afoothold in other related technologies.

This is a lead-and-grow role. You'll take ownership of anestablished O&M service operation spanning our renewable-energy systems, including14 direct field service engineers and other sub contracted support and you'llhave the mandate, backing and platform to build the commercial solar side intoa major growth area for the business. The stability of an established operationto run; the opportunity and ownership of building something significant on topof it.

Commercial solar is now a well-established part of the UK'sbuilding stock - and with a large and growing installed base comes asubstantial, largely untapped market for professional solar O&M.

Myriad is exceptionally well placed to capture it: anestablished brand, an installed base to build from, the operational capabilityto deliver, and a clear view of how to take a compelling proposition to market.What's been missing is someone to own it and drive it.

You will take commercial ownership of Myriad's O&Mbusiness - leading the established service operation across our renewabletechnologies while building the commercial solar O&M offering into a corepart of the company's future.

Your focus will be on growth. You will:

• Takeoverall responsibility for Myriad's existing O&M service operationacross our renewable-energy systems including biomass and solar, ensuringquality delivery and strong customer relationships
• Buildthe commercial solar O&M business - shaping the proposition, definingthe target market and driving new contract growth
• Developthe commercial model - pricing, contract structures and service levelsthat work for customers and the business
• Ownthe pipeline - identifying, targeting and winning commercial solar O&Mcontracts
• Workwith Myriad's operational teams to ensure the service is delivered to ahigh and scalable standard
• Takeownershipof the numbers - revenue, margin and the growth of the recurringcontract base
• Growthe business to the point where it needs, and supports, its own team andstructure

You are a commercially minded operator from a commercialsolar background who wants ownership - not just a sales target, but a businessto lead and grow. You understand commercial solar, you understand what it takesto win and keep customers, and you have the drive and self-direction to buildsomething from a strong starting position.

You will have:

• A backgroundin commercial solar - you understand the technology, the market and thecustomer
• Acommercial, business-building mindset - comfortable owning proposition,pricing, pipeline and P&L, not just delivery
• Experiencewinning and growing business - you know how to build a pipeline andconvert it
• Theself-direction to take ownership of a business line and drive it forward
• Strongcustomer and stakeholder skills - credible with building owners,facilities managers and commercial decision-makers
• Theambition to build something and grow with it

Experience in O&M, service or maintenance-contractbusinesses is an advantage. A commercial solar background is essential.
