Solar PV Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Solar PV Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, Solar PV and Battery Storage Systems and be adept at using various tools and equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Solar PV Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Solar PV electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair Solar PV Systems, Battery Storage and electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Dig trenches for electrical installations as required.
Weld components when necessary to ensure secure connections.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician or Solar PV Electrician
Fully Qualified Electrician
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex electrical systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to dig trenches for installation purposes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Solar PV Qualifications
Full UK Driving License
Over 23 Years of age for insurance reasons
