    Location: South West London office
    Working arrangement: Minimum 3 days per week in the office
    Rate: £600 - £800 per day - Negotiable depending on exp.
    IR35: Outside IR35
    Contract: 12-18 months expected
    Start date: ASAP

    We are recruiting a Project Quality Manager for a major international engineering and construction contractor delivering on a major Carbon Capture (Oil & Gas/Net Zero) Construction Project which is entering the execution phase.

    The Project Quality Manager will plan and implement the Project Quality Management System and ensure the effective delivery of all Quality Control activities. You will act as the focal point for quality-related matters across the project and with external organisations, reporting to the QHSE Manager and Project Director or Project Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and distribute the required Project Quality Plans and procedures in accordance with the company s Quality Management System
    • Plan quality audits to assess the correct implementation of the Project Quality Management System
    • Conduct external audits of vendor and subcontractor quality management systems
    • Participate in Project Management meetings to coordinate quality and wider project activities
    • Promote and implement the applicable contractual quality requirements across the project organisation
    • Support the Project Manager in quality-related matters with the client and relevant authorities
    • Supervise subcontractors and organisations responsible for delivering the works
    • Manage site non-conformities
    • Implement appropriate actions to prevent potential non-conformities and address their causes
    • Oversee quality requirements relating to material storage and preservation

    Requirements

    • Offshore Oil & Gas Construction experience is essential If you have only worked in oil & gas operations/maintenance environments, this would not be relevant.
    • Proven years experience as a Quality Manager/Lead
    • Previous experience within an offshore construction contractor
    • Strong experience in auditing, subcontractor management, material storage and preservation
    • Engineering degree
    • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
