    We arelooking for a motivated,organisedand people-focused Charity Shop Manager to lead one of our retail shopsin Talbot Green. Our shops play a vital role in funding our life-saving work, andyou'llbe at the heart of creating a welcoming, vibrant space that inspires customers, supports volunteers, and generates essential income for dogs who need us most.

    Whatyou'llbe doing
    • Lead and support a brilliant team of volunteers, creating a positive and rewarding environment for everyone.
    • Drive sales and customer engagement, ensuring your shop looks fantastic and reflects Hope Rescue's values and brand.
    • Manage stock flow, merchandising and pricing tomaximiserevenue and deliver a great shopping experience.
    • Recruit, train and support volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and confident in their roles.
    • Oversee cash handling, daily banking, and financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Deliver excellent customer service - both on the shop floor and behind the scenes.
    • Ensure the shop is safe,cleanand welcoming for customers, volunteers, dogs, and visitors.
    • Represent Hope Rescue in the local community, building relationships to encourage donations and support.
    Whatwe'relooking for
    • An enthusiastic retail professional (charity shop experience welcome but not essential).
    • Anaturalpeopleperson who enjoys leading teams and creating a warm, inclusive shop culture.
    • Organised,positiveand able to think on your feet.
    • Comfortable managing daily shop operations, from visual merchandising to cash handling.
    • Confident using tills/EPOS and basic IT systems.
    • Passionate about animal welfare and committed to Hope Rescue's mission.
