Direct Reports: Environmental consultants, interns and specialist environmental contractors (as required)
Inyanga Maritime is transforming the future of marine renewable energy.
Combining world-class engineering, specialist marine operations and innovative technology, we are delivering some of Europe's most exciting offshore renewable energy projects.
At the heart of our business is HydroWing-our next-generation tidal stream energy technology designed to provide predictable, low-carbon electricity at commercial scale.
HydroWing is progressing towards commercial deployment through the 30 MW Morlais Project, one of Europe's largest consented tidal energy developments and a flagship project helping establish tidal stream energy as a mainstream source of renewable power.
Delivering projects of this scale demands the highest standards of environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement. We are seeking an experienced Environmental & Consents Manager to ensure that every stage of project delivery complies with our Marine Licence, planning obligations and wider statutory consents while supporting the successful commercial deployment of HydroWing.
Reporting directly to the Morlais Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the project remains fully compliant with all environmental legislation, Marine Licence conditions, planning obligations and statutory consents throughout construction, commissioning and operational readiness.
You will become the environmental focal point for the Morlais Project, coordinating regulators, environmental specialists, contractors and project teams to ensure compliance is embedded throughout project delivery.
This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in one of Europe's flagship tidal energy developments, helping deliver clean, predictable renewable energy while protecting the exceptional marine environment surrounding Anglesey.
