    Wind Turbine Technician - South Lanarkshire

    Join GE Vernova Onshore Wind team in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. As a Wind Turbine Technician you will perform preventive maintenance and service activities to ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of wind farm assets.

    Responsibilities
    • Maintain wind turbine performance through detailed preventive maintenance schedules.
    • Perform safe, high quality technical inspections and servicing while working at height.
    • Accurately and timely report all maintenance checklists, materials used, and hours logged.
    • Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external service providers to streamline site operations.
    • Collaborate with team to troubleshoot technical issues and improve system reliability.
    Qualifications
    • Ability to travel extensively to and from projects and various field assignments.
    • Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments.
    • Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and field assignments.
    • Interpret and follow complex technical documentation and instructions.
    • Work effectively in a team based environment while working at height.
    • Understand safe systems of work within an industrial, commercial, or heavy industry setting.
    • Expertise in technical problem solving and structured, analytical task management.
    • Keen interest in continuous personal development and professional growth.
    • Professional training in mechanical or electrical engineering sector (e.g., SVQ/NVQ Level3) is a plus, but total experience and achievements are valued.
    Location

    Permanent on site position across three wind farms in South Lanarkshire, Scotland: Whitelee, BlackLaw, and Clachan Flats.
