  • Overview

    UKOS BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited is recruiting for a Wind Asset Manager to support the Wind Asset Manager team and deliver the contracted scope of services at multiple wind farms.

    Responsibilities
    • Customer Relations - primary contact for site owners, managing all customer queries promptly and to the highest standards.
    • Contract Management - manage all contracts and agreements associated with the sites, ensuring all requirements and obligations are met and managing breaches on behalf of the owners.
    • Operations Management - manage internal and external resources to plan works with production maximisation as the goal, helps define and manage the annual OPEX budgets.
    • Technical Analysis - perform detailed technical analysis to determine factors and trends that impact production and asset life.
    • Contractor Management - measure contractor performance, ensuring obligations are met, defining and measuring KPIs to provide value to the customer.
    • Information Management - ensure historical data and documentation are complete and available to the customer.
    • Reporting - create detailed customer reports on site performance and contractual compliance and give recommendations to customers.
    • Procurement - lead or support procurement process for appointing contractors for specific works and for new O&M arrangements.
    • Technical Advisory - integrate BayWa r.e. sites under construction into operations, oversee due diligence and onboarding of new sites from successful tenders, advise customers on technical queries, recommend improvements and manage additional service projects.
    Qualifications
    • Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
    • Previous experience managing technical operations of onshore wind farms or similar technology.
    • Understanding of wind turbine technology, wind farm operations, SCADA systems, wind farm balance of plant equipment and UK HSE legislation.
    • Proven track record in contract management, able to read, understand and enforce contracts.
    • Strong analysis skills, attention to detail, able to manipulate data to identify patterns and trends.
    • Customer oriented communication skills, able to negotiate at all levels, both written and verbal.
    • Organised, able to manage competing priorities, diverse workload and meet targets and deadlines.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Valid driver's licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

    Desired but not essential: valid IOSH or NEBOSH qualification; specialist mechanical, electrical, or environmental wind industry experience.
