They have grown to become a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, with more than 600 employees and activities in 16 markets across Europe and the USA. /ppCurrently, they own and operate almost 2GW of wind and solar projects and their development portfolio includes more than 53 GW. /ppResponsibilities: /pulliProviding legal advice and support on a wide range of activities; /liliDrafting and negotiating contracts agreements, minutes and other legal documents related to renewable energy projects from an IPP standpoint; /liliBeing the liaison with external law firms for diverse legal support, but most importantly in what regards renewables' public litigation; /liliAdvising on and securing compliance of the business operations with the French and EU regulatory frameworks and laws; /liliAssisting and ensuring compliance with the specific French energy regulatory framework throughout the project development, construction and operation phases; /liliAnticipate and manage legal risk in connection with or resulting from the business strategy and operations, as well as contacting the relevant authorities for the projects; /liliConducting legal research and providing advice to the Head of Legal (Southern Europe) and/or the French Country Manager, as well as cooperating with other members of the remaining operational departments; /liliBeing permanently updated on new energy regulation, in particular in the AgriPV, Wind, BESS and green hydrogen industries; /liliAssist on the companies' corporate matters. /li /ulpCore Requirements: /pulliUniversity degree in Law, preferably with a specialisation in Energy or Administrative/Public Law in France; /lili3-6 years of experience, preferably working with a law firm in the Energy sector (or a renewable energy company with similar role) - Less experienced profiles but with a significant background will be considered; /liliExperience on administrative procedures for the development of renewable energy projects; /liliStrong experience in renewables' public litigation (environmental permitting); /liliWorking knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes; /liliLegal experience in corporate, commercial and real estate matters; /liliKnowledge of the AgriPV/Wind/Solar business as well as general business law issues of an IPP, including regulatory framework in the relevant geographic area; /liliFluency in French and English, with strong communication skills in both languages; /liliAbility to work on several projects at the same time with time sensitive deliverables; /liliAvailability to travel. /li /ulh3Seniority level /h3pMid-Senior level /ph3Employment type /h3pFull-time /ph3Job function /h3pLegal /ph3Industries /h3pServices for Renewable Energy and Environmental Services /p
