Land & Property Renewables Lawyer

We have an opportunity for a solicitor with a minimum of two to three years post qualified experience in renewables to join one of our Land & Property teams on a full-time basis. Dual qualified candidates will be considered and may be an advantage, but Scottish qualification is essential. The role will principally be based in our Edinburgh office, although we support a hybrid working approach.

In providing advice to clients, you will work with colleagues in land and property, tax and succession, business law, charity law, family law, employment law and litigation to ensure that fully integrated holistic advice is given to our clients. You will act as a trusted adviser and sounding board, requiring interest in people and their affairs, and you will act with discretion and empathy.

• At least two to three years post qualified experience in the Scottish property aspects of renewables projects.
• Strong team player, with sound practical property law experience and enthusiasm to develop technical skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Self-sufficient, commercially aware, able to handle a wide variety of challenging work with minimum supervision.
• Strong organisation and confident communication skills, with strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality, exposed to sensitive information.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm to develop technical skills, colleagues and progress career in a collegiate and supportive environment with technical excellence and high-quality loyal clients.
