    About the Role

    ARM is recruiting on behalf of a leading renewable energy organisation for a motivated and organised Solar PV Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing sector and take ownership of commercial solar PV projects across the UK.

    You will be responsible for managing projects from initial design through to construction and installation, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards.



    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage end-to-end delivery of solar PV projects (design, construction, installation)
    • Oversee project health & safety, including risk assessments and method statements
    • Coordinate design engineers, subcontractors, and site teams
    • Support project budgeting, estimation, procurement, and financial tracking
    • Provide technical input during feasibility and early-stage design
    • Liaise with clients, DNOs, suppliers, and external consultants
    • Carry out site visits to assess suitability and progress installations
    • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure effective communication throughout projects
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
    • Willingness to travel across the UK as required


    Essential Requirements

    • Experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally with commercial solar PV design, installation, or operations
    • Strong understanding of construction health & safety legislation
    • Knowledge of project financials, budgeting, and cost control
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD
    • Full UK driving licence


    Desirable Skills & Qualifications

    • NEBOSH, IOSH, SMSTS, or Working at Height certification
    • Experience using ArcGIS
    • Familiarity with PV design software
    • Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D
