We're looking for an Environmental Data Analyst to play a key role in delivering our Environment and Sustainability strategy. This role focuses on providing accurate, timely environmental and sustainability data, information, statistics and analysis.
Reporting into the Sustainability Manager, you'll be responsible for compiling, managing and reporting on a wide range of environmental and sustainability data for both internal and external audiences.
You'll act as a key point of contact for environmental data across the organisation, collaborating with ESG, Sustainability, Regulatory and Performance teams to ensure data integrity, compliance and consistency.
We know flexibility matters, and so this role offers a hybrid working approach-a mix of home and office working and you'll also have the freedom to base yourself at any of our sites across the East Midlands, West Midlands, South West, or Wales
Experience of data management and the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
Be competent using Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
Experience with using Power BI or other data analysis tools and a willingness to learn.
Knowledge of environmental and sustainability legislation and interest in environment and sustainability would be advantageous.
Level 4 qualification, preferably, in a STEM related subject
Familiarity with SharePoint or document management systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across the business
Analytical mindset with strong problem solving and critical thinking ability.
Open-minded and flexible to respond to competing priorities, and comfortable with ambiguity.
A self-starter, able to work both independently and within a team.
Interest (or pre-existing knowledge) of environment and sustainability in the energy sector.
Willingness to develop sustainability knowledge and undertake relevant professional development.
