    The Role

    We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to take full responsibility for all EHS activities across our manufacturing site.

    This is a key leadership role where you will ensure legal compliance, drive continuous improvement, maintain ISO management systems, and promote a proactive health & safety culture throughout the business.

    You'll work closely with management and operational teams to minimise risk, improve standards, and ensure environmental compliance at all times.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and maintain the company's Health & Safety Management System
    • Maintain and develop ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
    • Ensure compliance with COMAH, DSEAR, ATEX and environmental legislation
    • Conduct and review site risk assessments and internal audits
    • Develop and update EHS policies and procedures
    • Deliver and coordinate H&S training, inductions and refresher programmes
    • Investigate accidents/incidents and liaise with regulatory authorities when required
    • Manage emergency preparedness and contractor safety processes
    • Support and coach managers and employees to improve site safety performance
    • Manage environmental monitoring, reporting and waste compliance
    • Liaise with the Environment Agency and other governing bodies
    • Maintain records relating to chemicals, PPE, fire safety and training
    • Mentor and develop the EHS Officer
    What We're Looking For
    • NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma (essential)
    • Experience within a manufacturing environment
    • Strong understanding of UK Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
    • Working knowledge of COMAH, DSEAR and ATEX regulations
    • Experience in contractor management, risk assessments and emergency planning
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills
    • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
    • Degree in Health & Safety or related discipline desirable
    Working Hours
    • 40 hours per week
    • Monday to Friday
