A really exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Policy Manager to join a highly influential organisation operating at the heart of the UK automotive sector.
This is a unique chance to shape the future of environmental policy across one of the world's most rapidly evolving industries, with a particular focus on circular economy strategy, EV battery sustainability, and end-of-life vehicle regulation.
Working within a high-profile policy and legislative team, you'll play a leading role in influencing UK and international policy development, engaging directly with government, regulators, industry leaders, and key stakeholders. You'll be responsible for developing evidence-based positions on emerging environmental legislation and helping steer industry responses to major regulatory change.
This role would suit someone with a strong understanding of environmental regulation, battery technologies, circularity, or automotive sustainability, gained through industry, consultancy, trade association, or government experience.
The successful candidate will be commercially aware, politically astute, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders across industry and government. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to interpret complex technical and regulatory issues.
