Junior CAD Design Engineer - Solar PV

Salary: 24k- 28k + Pension + Benefits

Location: Kent (office-based with site visits)

Sector: Solar PV / Battery Storage / Renewable Energy

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a junior level CAD / Design Engineer to join an established client of ours within the Solar PV, Battery Storage and Renewable Energy sector.

Great opportunity for an entry-level or junior CAD professional with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

The role is an office based position therefore you will need to live commutable to the Orpington, Kent area and to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Producing and updating CAD drawings for commercial solar PV projects.
• Assisting with technical layouts, schematics and design packs.
• Opportunity for training and to grow within the Solar PV and Renewable Energy industry.
• Training on various solar design software such as PV SOL and OpenSolar.

Skills Required

• CAD knowledge and experience, ideally AutoCAD
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• UK Driving Licence

What's on offer

• Salary 24k- 28k subject to experience
• Full time position - Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm
