About the Company

A growing renewable energy business specialising in solar PV installations across domestic and commercial projects. With a strong pipeline of work in the York region, they are looking to bring in an experienced Solar Roofer to support ongoing installs and future growth.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Solar Roofer to join the team on either a subcontract or permanent basis. You will be responsible for installing solar PV mounting systems and carrying out all associated roofing works to a high standard, ensuring systems are fitted safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of solar PV mounting systems on pitched and flat roofs
• Carrying out roofing works including tiling, slating, flashing, and sealing
• Ensuring all installations are weatherproof and completed to a high standard
• Working closely with electricians to support full system installs
• Adhering to health & safety regulations at all times
• Assisting with maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades where required

Requirements

• Proven experience in solar PV roofing installations
• Strong roofing background (tiling, slating, flat roofs)
• Working at height experience
• CSCS Card (essential)
• Solar PV qualifications (desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence
