Job Title: Renewable Energy Sales Consultant / Surveyor
Location: Newark (field based, covering surrounding areas)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 base + commission
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday

A fast growing renewable energy business specialising in solar PV and low carbon technologies across domestic and small commercial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and consistent lead flow in the Newark region, they are looking to expand their team with a technically minded Sales Consultant / Surveyor.

This is a hybrid sales and surveying position within the renewables sector. You will attend pre qualified appointments, assess properties for solar PV suitability, design tailored systems, and convert opportunities into sales. This role suits someone with a strong understanding of renewable technologies and a consultative, customer first approach.

• Attending pre booked appointments with residential and light commercial customers
• Conducting on site surveys for solar PV and other renewable solutions
• Designing systems and producing accurate, competitive quotations
• Advising customers on energy savings, ROI, and sustainability benefits
• Closing sales and managing the project journey through to installation
• Working closely with installation teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Keeping up to date with renewable technologies, incentives, and regulations

• Experience in renewable energy sales, solar PV surveying, or technical sales
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems (additional renewables knowledge beneficial)
• Proven ability to close deals and manage a sales pipeline
• Excellent communication and customer facing skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

• £40,000 - £45,000 base salary (DOE)
