  • The Role

Looking for a role where you can get out on site, work with real projects, and see the impact of your decisions on the ground?

We're looking for an Environmental Advisor to join our team, supporting construction and utility projects across the UK. This is a hands on role. You'll be out on site, working with soils, contractors and landowners, making sure projects are delivered properly and responsibly.

We farm 20,000 hectares ourselves. So when we talk about protecting soils and managing land the right way, we mean it. We do it every day.

    Responsibilities

You'll be right in the middle of project delivery, supporting teams on site and keeping standards high.

    You will:

    • Monitor construction and infrastructure works on site
    • Carry out site inspections, focusing on soils, earthworks and reinstatement
    • Complete Records of Condition, from baseline surveys through to sign off
    • Check contractor work against Soil Management Plans and method statements
    • Manage risks around soil handling, trafficking and compaction

    You'll also:

    • Oversee soil stripping, storage and reinstatement
    • Monitor ground conditions and provide practical input on site
    • Support communication with landowners, agents and contractors
    • Attend site meetings and keep clear records
    • Help with reporting, mapping and project documentation
    The Ideal Candidate

We're after someone practical, organised and ready to learn on the job.

    You'll need:

    • A degree, or working towards one, in agriculture, environmental management, soil science, construction or similar
    • Experience in construction, utilities or infrastructure projects
    • Strong organisation and attention to detail
    • Confidence using Microsoft Office
    • A willingness to travel to sites across the UK

    It helps if you have:

    • An understanding of UK farming systems or agri environment schemes
    • Knowledge of soil management and handling
    • Experience with LandApp, GIS or similar platforms
    • Confidence working both in the office and out on site
    What We Offer

You'll be part of a team that backs each other and gets stuck in.

    • Structured training and development from day one
    • A clear Personal Development Plan
    • Exposure to a wide range of projects across the UK
    • A supportive, experienced team

We're employee owned. That means everyone here has a stake in what we do. When the work goes well, it matters to all of us.

We don't just advise. We get involved, we learn on our own land, and we share what works.
