We are seeking an exceptional Business Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team. This strategic post leads the operational and business management functions of the school and is central to ensuring excellent support services that enable the very best outcomes for our students.
Grade 11 - £50,269 - £54,495 per annum (£26.06 - £28.25 per hour)
Flexible working available/Condensed working week
Option for Term Time + Additional Weeks OR Full Year contract
Hybrid working opportunities, with the option for some working from home following the induction period
As Support Services Manager, you will lead, manage, and continually improve several core operational functions, including:
You will provide strategic advice to the Headteacher, SLT and Governors, ensure systems are efficient and compliant, and manage staff across multiple departments.
We are looking for an experienced and confident professional who brings:
Experience working at a management level within a business environment. Strong understanding of financial and operational management.
Degree in Business Administration, NCSL Diploma in School Business Management, or equivalent qualification/experience.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and codes of practice. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams. High level planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills. Accuracy, attention to detail and confidence in handling confidential information. Ability to influence, negotiate and build positive relationships at all levels.
Customer-focused, responsive, and committed to meeting the needs of pupils, parents, and stakeholders. Able to lead and support organisational change with clarity and sensitivity. Promotes teamwork, trust, openness, and effective communication. Resilient under pressure and capable of managing complex workloads. Committed to continuous improvement and professional development.
