University of Exeter
Exeter, United Kingdom
The University of Exeter is offering a fully funded PhD studentship in Environmental Intelligence, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence to address challenges at the intersection of climate change and human health. This interdisciplinary project is part of Exeter's Environmental Intelligence research initiative, which integrates expertise in data science, environmental science, and health research.
The studentship will involve developing advanced AI and machine learning models to analyse complex environmental and health datasets. The research aims to generate insights into how environmental changes influence human health outcomes and to support the development of predictive tools for policy and decision making.
The successful candidate will be based within a dynamic and collaborative research environment, benefiting from access to world class facilities and supervision from leading experts across multiple disciplines. The programme includes advanced research training, opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, and engagement with external stakeholders.
The studentship covers tuition fees and provides a tax free stipend at the UKRI rate for the duration of the programme. Additional funding may be available to support research costs, training, and conference attendance.
