    Job Title: Conservation Projects Manager, East Anglia
    Duration: Permanent
    Hours: 36 hours per week
    Salary: £41,900 per annum, plus pension and benefits
    Location: Home-based, preferably within East Anglia or East of England

    Overview

    We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate conservation professional to join the Trust and play a key role in the care and conservation of our outstanding churches, a fascinating and unique collection of highly listed historic buildings.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Develop and manage a range of holistic, conservation and new use projects from inception to completion.
    • Lead on capital, conservation and maintenance programmes in East Anglia and beyond.
    • Provide professional advice and support to community-led projects.
    • Collaborate with experienced consultants, skilled craftspeople, national and regional colleagues, volunteers, local partners and stakeholders.
    • Ensure projects meet conservation standards, budgets and timelines.
    • Prepare and oversee project documentation, contracts and tender processes.
    Required Qualifications & Experience
    • Expertise and specialist knowledge in historic building repair and conservation.
    • Proven track record of project management (client side) in the heritage sector.
    • Qualifications: Building Surveyor, Conservation Architect, Estate Manager, or Project Manager.
    • Strong understanding of historic building laws and conservation best practices.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Full driving licence.
    Working Hours & Benefits
    • 36 hours per week, primarily home based.
    • Annual salary of £41,900, plus pension and benefits.
