  • For a partner active in the environmental sector, we are currently looking for a Finance and Office Officer in the heart of Brussels.


    Our partner organization has around 100 employees and is specialized and focused on major environmental issues, with a more direct focus on reducing waste and preventing risks.

    With several offices across Europe, they operate both nationally and internationally, improving and promoting sustainable and safe environmental solutions.

    As a Finance and Office Officer, you will work directly with the CFO. He is a manager with a relaxed and approachable leadership style, creating a calm yet highly efficient work environment.

    You will be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Assisting in preparing budgets, financial reports, payroll accounting, and invoices
    • Supporting the CFO in budget preparation and financial reporting proposals
    • Collaborating with the external accountant and assisting during audits
    • Preparing detailed P&L statements, balance sheets, explanations, and analyzing variances

    Administrative tasks:

    • Managing supplier relationships and purchasing office supplies
    • Handling general correspondence and assisting with onboarding new employees
    • Collaborating with HR to ensure compliance with internal policies



    Do you have:

    • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
    • 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an NGO (and defeinite NGO Experience)
    • Fluency in English, with good knowledge of Dutch or French
    • The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
    • Experience with Odoo and the ability to use it efficiently
