An established engineering and energy solutions provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its London team. This is a pivotal role within a high-performing work-winning function, supporting the organisation's next phase of growth across the UK energy sector.

The successful candidate will help expand a strong pipeline of secured work, with a particular focus on developing opportunities within grid scale solar, battery storage, and complementary energy solutions that enhance the company's existing building services engineering offering.

• Generate high-quality pipeline intelligence across core sectors in London, the South, and wider England.
• Build a deep understanding of client operations, culture, and procurement preferences to strengthen competitive positioning.
• Develop and sustain strong working relationships with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, M&E Consultants, Architects, and end clients.
• Shape and maintain a clear pipeline aligned with the organisation's energy solutions growth strategy.
• Manage critical pipeline and project data through CRM systems.
• Lead client relationship management, ensuring client needs remain central to the service offering.
• Develop strategic partnerships and represent the business at networking events.
• Collaborate closely with Communications, Bids, and other internal teams.

• Proven track record within the Grid / Utility PV sector in the UK.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in Business Development or work-winning roles.
• Strong CRM experience and confidence managing structured data.
