Role Climate17 are supporting one of the UK's leading renewable energy specialists, who have been providing award-winning solar PV, battery storage, and low-carbon energy systems for over 30 years.
Owing to growth in their operations & maintenance business unit, they are actively looking to hire a Solar O&M Coordinator to provide key administrative and organisational support for their team of internal and external O&M Engineers across the UK. Responsibilities
Plan and schedule routine servicing visits, reactive call-outs, and maintenance activities.
Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and customers to confirm appointments and access requirements.
Maintain and update the O&M service calendar to ensure timely delivery of services.
Monitor outstanding jobs and follow up to ensure completion within agreed timeframes.
Act as a first point of contact for incoming O&M enquiries via phone and email.
Log service requests and faults accurately within internal systems.
Provide clear communication to customers regarding visit dates, reports, and outcomes.
Support field engineers by preparing job packs, site information, and documentation.
Maintain accurate service records, asset registers, and customer files.
Upload and file service reports, photographs, and certificates following visits.
Assist with preparation of O&M reports and documentation for customers.
Ensure all documentation is stored in line with company procedures and audit requirements.
Assist the O&M Manager with general administrative duties
Track service contract dates, renewals, and servicing intervals.
Support stock and equipment tracking for the O&M team.
Help maintain internal trackers for performance, response times, and service delivery.
Ensure records and documentation meet internal quality standards.
Support compliance with service level agreements and company procedures.
Highlight any gaps or issues in scheduling, reporting, or communication.
Requirements
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.
Professional and friendly manner when dealing with customers and engineers.
Willingness to learn about solar PV and renewable energy systems.
Previous experience in an administrative, scheduling, or customer service role.
Experience using job management or CRM systems.
Interest in renewable energy or technical environments.
