Site Supervisor / Manager - Solar

A client of ours are looking for a Site Manager/Supervisor for their ground mount solar farm project in the East Midlands area.

This will be a 7-month contract starting ASAP. For this role, you MUST have previous experience of working on a ground mount solar farm and have your 3-day First Aid, SMSTS/SSSTS and either a Black or Gold CSCS card.

Our client has also requested someone with a civil or mechanical bias.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure safe, efficient project delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel
• Monitor progress against programme, reporting updates to the Project Manager
• Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, RAMS, and quality standards
• Oversee civil/mechanical construction activities
• Conduct site inspections, resolve issues, and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working on a ground mount solar farm, ideally large-scale, in a managerial/supervisory position
• SMSTS/SSSTS
• 3-day First Aid
• Gold/Black CSCS card
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work proactively and drive productivity
