A well-established multi-site manufacturing organisation within the automotive sector is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) Manager to join its leadership team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for HS&E management across three UK manufacturing sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving best practice, ensuring compliance, and supporting the organisation s commercial and operational objectives.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Board, with on-site support available, the HS&E Manager will be responsible for all Health, Safety and Environmental matters across the business, including:
Full responsibility for Health & Safety compliance
Maintaining and managing ISO 45001 accreditation
Risk assessments, audits, inspections, investigations, and safety documentation
Employee safety training and development
Mentoring Health & Safety and Fire Safety representatives
Full responsibility for Environmental compliance
Maintaining and managing ISO 14001 accreditation
Environmental permits, waste management, and emissions control
Employee environmental training
Management of external contractors where required
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Minimum of five years practical experience in an HS&E Manager role
NEBOSH qualification
Ability to work autonomously with strong organisational skills
Comfortable working across multiple sites with regular travel
Desirable:
Graduate membership of IOSH
Qualified trainer status
Trained internal auditor

Salary: circa £50,000, dependent on experience
