Job Description:

Were looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our solar operations team. In this hands-on role, youll be out in the field keeping our solar PV systems performing at their best safe, reliable, and efficient.

What youll do

• Carry out routine maintenance, testing, and repairs on solar PV systems
• Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance in line with the annual plan (and as issues arise)
• Diagnose and resolve faults across AC and DC systems
• Log daily site activities through our online reporting system
• Complete risk assessments and report near misses
• Supervise and coordinate third-party contractors, ensuring H&S compliance
• Maintain accurate testing and maintenance records for audits
• Stay up to date with fire, health, and safety requirements
• Be prepared for occasional nights away and weekend rota work (with extra pay)

What youll bring

• Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Installations
• C&G 2382-18 and 2391-52 (or equivalent)
• HV AP qualification
• 3+ years experience in Solar PV O&M (ground mount)
• Solid knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, HV systems, and industry-standard testing equipment
• Familiarity with CCTV and SCADA systems
• First Aid and Fire Marshal training (or willingness to train)
• Harness and IOSH qualifications (desirable training can be provided)
