From rooftop solar panels to commercial carports and energy storage, they design and implement smart energy systems that help businesses reduce costs and carbon emissions.
Based in the West Midlands, their tight-knit, ambitious team is expanding and they are looking for a Project Manager to join them on their journey to shape a more sustainable UK energy landscape.
The Opportunity As a Project Manager, you ll take full ownership of multiple commercial & industrial renewable energy projects across the UK. These include solar PV installations (primarily rooftops), EV charging infrastructure, and carport systems. You ll manage everything from initial pricing and cost analysis through to subcontractor management and project delivery. This is a hands-on, autonomous role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing business and wants to make a tangible impact on the transition to clean energy.
Key Responsibilities
About You Proven experience managing renewable energy or construction projects, specifically roof top solar PV. Strong commercial acumen with experience in costing, pricing, and value engineering. Familiarity with CDM regulations, H&S protocols, and working with subcontractors. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different locations. A proactive, self-starting attitude suited to a growing SME environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Full UK driving licence (essential). Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
Preferred qualifications: Experience in commercial rooftop solar or carport installations. Knowledge of EV charging infrastructure. Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM).
