Description We are currently seeking an Environmental Permitting Manager based in the UK. Reporting to the Environment Manager, you will help to support our licence to operate across the GB business in the most cost effective and sustainable manner. This role is being offered on a fixed term basis, ending on 30th September 2026. This is a hybrid role, with regular national travel. Key Responsibilities You will provide technical expertise and advice in relation to securing new environmental permits, environmental permitting management, and legal compliance in relation to the following permit types:
- Part B LPPC s
- Mines Waste
- Landfill
- Recycling (RAP)
- Water Abstraction & Discharge/
- Trade Effluents
- EA/NRW Transitional Arrangements

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level and possess relevant environmental qualifications, along with significant experience of environmental permitting and strong technical skills in sustainability and environmental management. You will have strong data analysis and validation skills and excellent report writing skills and experience of presentations and workshop delivery. You will also possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop relationships internally and externally, and excellent communication, teamwork and IT skills. Job Benefits
