In this hands-on position, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of hydrogen power systems, ensuring reliable, efficient, and safe performance on customer sites. The role suits someone with a strong electrical background, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
Install, operate, maintain, and de-rig hydrogen power systems on customer sites
Perform electrical testing, inspection, and fault-finding on AC and DC systems
Support power distribution setup and testing for clients
Produce accurate maintenance and inspection reports
Work safely and comply with all regulatory and safety requirements
Participate in an on-call rota and respond to emergency work orders
Travel across the UK and internationally as required
Be available for out-of-hours and weekend work as systems operate 24/7
Passion for renewable and zero-emission technologies
NVQ Level 3 qualification in an electrical discipline (JIB-recognised Apprenticeship)
Eligible for an ECS Installation Electrician Gold Card
BS7671:2018 (18th Edition) certification
Proven experience with AC/DC systems, including UPS and batteries
Confident using MS Office, Teams, and digital tools
Full UK driving licence
Strong analytical, fault-finding, and independent decision-making skills
Electrical Engineering qualification (e.g. BEng, HND)
CompEx registration
