  • SLR's European-based international Environmental & Social Impact Assessment and Environmental & Social (ESIA) team has a growing portfolio of projects across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South America, and Africa. We are seeking a French-speaking ESIA Project Manager with expertise in international ESIA and ESDD, particularly in power, mining, and infrastructure sectors.

    The role can be based in either our UK or France offices.

    What will you be doing?

    You will work closely with our international team to secure and manage large ESIA contracts in emerging economies. Regular travel is expected. Your responsibilities include coordinating technical specialists, leading proposal development, and preparing high-quality technical reports.

    What you will need
    • Experience managing and delivering large ESIA studies, preferably in power, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
    • Ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business development, with experience with IFIs (e.g., EBRD, KfW, IFC) and finance sector clients advantageous.
    • Fluent in French (C1 minimum) and proficient in English.
    • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client interactions and tenders.
    • Good knowledge of international ESIA standards, including World Bank E&S Standards, IFC Performance Standards, EBRD E&S Requirements, Equator Principles, and EIB.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
