Interim Solar Farm Acquisitions Consultant

A Local Authority in the East Anglia area is looking for a DM consultant to assist with Solar Applications (upwards of 50 MW)

This contract will run for an initial 6 month period with a possible extension to follow afterwards. The rate is negotiable.

Duties may include:

• Lead and manage the preparation and submission of planning applications for utility-scale solar projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, land, legal, grid) and external stakeholders (consultants, local authorities, landowners).
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met from feasibility through to consent.
• Provide strategic input on site selection, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Stay up to date with planning policy, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
