Electrical Installation Manager

50,000 DOE + Package

Alecto Recruitment are partnering with an established company within the Renewables Sector to lead our clients' Electrical Installation Team to deliver residential renewable energy projects from design to commissioning.

We're looking for a hands-on leader with technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for renewables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and approve electrical systems (solar PV, battery storage, Air Source Heat Pumps) to BS7671, G98, G99, MCS standards.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for electrical scopes.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineers, apprentices, and subcontractors.
• Oversee site surveys, installations, materials, and documentation.
• Maintain quality control, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Act as the nominated technical sign-off for all electrical works.

Requirements:

• Must have: either be a member of NAPIT already or be in a position for to sign up as our technically competent person.
• City & Guilds Level 3 (BS7671:2018 + Amendment 2), Inspection & Testing, NVQ Diploma.
• 10+ years in electrical installation, 3+ years in renewables design & install.
• Proven leadership of installation teams.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and H&S regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable: BPEC qualifications, SMSTS, asbestos awareness, working at height, job management software experience.
