A leading renewable energy contractor, specialising in sustainable heating and cooling technologies, is looking to appoint a Renewables Engineer. This role will focus on the service, maintenance, and repair of ground source heat pump (GSHP) systems, supporting projects across domestic, commercial, and large-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain renewable energy systems, with a focus on ground source heat pumps (GSHPs)
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across domestic and commercial GSHP installations
• Perform testing, inspections, and efficiency checks to ensure system performance
• Liaise with clients, management teams, and manufacturers to ensure smooth delivery
• Produce accurate service and repair reports for project documentation
• Provide technical support to commissioning, aftercare, and project management teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a renewables engineer or in heat pump servicing and maintenance
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge (essential for renewable system servicing)
• Confident working on large ground source heat pump systems
• F-Gas certification (essential)
• Full UK driving license
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of UK building methods and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
