What will you be doing?

• Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies using wind, solar, and GIS data to estimate energy output and capacity.
• Create and optimise conceptual layouts using tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVcase, and Helioscope.
• Analyse resource and yield assessments from meteorological towers and remote sensors, ensuring accuracy and uptime of measurement equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and environmental teams to refine project layouts and address site constraints.
• Provide technical support to third-party consultants, support land acquisition and permitting processes, and contribute technical insights during procurement and project execution.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain organized documentation of designs, calculations, and project assumptions.

Are you the ideal candidate?
The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in STEM (Physics, Advanced Mathematics, Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field).
• Over 5 years of experience in renewable energy projects, particularly in solar, wind, or battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Proficiency in design and resource assessment tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, and WindFarmer.
• Experience with wind/solar met towers and remote sensing technologies preferred.
• Familiarity with UK grid and planning regulations, with GIS experience (QGIS/ArcGIS) and visualization tools (Revit) as bonuses.
