    The Role

    As a Renewable Energy Planner, you will play a key role in supporting medium to large-scale renewable energy projects, from inception through to completion. You'll be involved in:

    • Providing inputs on renewable energy planning projects, engaging with project stakeholders and clients

    • Preparing planning assessments, reports, and project documentation

    • Undertaking research, site visits, and background studies to inform planning strategies

    • Liaising with client representatives, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to progress projects effectively

    • Ensuring all project outputs are delivered to a high standard and within deadlines



    About You

    We're looking for candidates who are motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced in the renewable energy planning sector. You should have:

    • Degree or Masters in Town Planning (IPI or RTPI accredited)

    • Minimum 3 years' post-graduate planning experience (ideally in a consultancy setting)

    • Strong knowledge of the Irish planning system and relevant national and European legislation

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to manage a varied workload and thrive under deadlines

    • Full, clean driving licence
