As a Renewable Energy Planner, you will play a key role in supporting medium to large-scale renewable energy projects, from inception through to completion. You'll be involved in:
Providing inputs on renewable energy planning projects, engaging with project stakeholders and clients
Preparing planning assessments, reports, and project documentation
Undertaking research, site visits, and background studies to inform planning strategies
Liaising with client representatives, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to progress projects effectively
Ensuring all project outputs are delivered to a high standard and within deadlines
We're looking for candidates who are motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced in the renewable energy planning sector. You should have:
Degree or Masters in Town Planning (IPI or RTPI accredited)
Minimum 3 years' post-graduate planning experience (ideally in a consultancy setting)
Strong knowledge of the Irish planning system and relevant national and European legislation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage a varied workload and thrive under deadlines
Full, clean driving licence
