Public & Green Space / Grounds Maintenance Team Leader needed in Exeter, £15.84ph (PAYE - Reference: )

To support the Public and Green Space Operators undertaking cleansing and grounds maintenance services to keep the city looking good.

1. Understand and organise resources - staff, plant, materials, and equipment - required to meet demand and schedule.
2. Supervise and support Public and Green Space Operators in streets, parks, and open spaces to meet cleansing and grounds maintenance demands.
3. Respond to resource requests from operators and external sources to ensure efficient operations.
4. Conduct quarterly inspections of playground equipment, prepare reports, and coordinate repairs or replacements to ensure safety.
5. Advise and assist community members and businesses in maintaining their local areas.
6. Work flexibly during evenings and weekends as needed to meet service demands.
7. Perform other relevant duties as assigned, consistent with the role and grading.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
