Job summary

We're looking for a skilled roofer, responsible for leading the installation of solar arrays on commercial premises, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

Install various types of solar roofing systems including renusol and GSE in-roof

Conduct site inspections to assess conditions and determine necessary repairs or replacements

Plotting of cable management runs and mansafe systems

Use power tools and hand tools

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Read and interpret schematics and blueprints related to solar roofing projects

Required

Proven experience as a Roofer/Solar Roofer or similar

Sound knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety practices

Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely

Familiarity with roofing power tools and hand tools

Basic understanding of roofing building codes and regulations

Location

Our HQ is in Shropshire but our projects are all over the country

The successful candidate will be expected to be away from home Monday to Thursday, with some extended periods when time restrictions apply.

Pay: £16.00-£19.00 per hour
