  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Contract Manager to join Thames Water on a permanent basis.

    The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing wastewater networks, pollution, flooding, and blockage management, with experience in customer engagement and education related to sewer misuse.

    Key responsibilities include:

    1. Engaging and influencing stakeholders internally and externally, including regulators and community groups.
    2. Developing educational programs to inform customers about sewer abuse.
    3. Organizing public outreach events and workshops.
    4. Reviewing and developing policies related to sewer misuse.
    5. Managing relationships with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
    6. Leading Targeted Catchment Investigations (TCI) activities to reduce pollution, flooding, and blockages.
    7. Managing contractors and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
    8. Overseeing intervention work and managing budgets and staff development.

    Qualifications include a passion for environmental performance, water industry experience or similar, driving performance through teams, understanding waste network operations, and a full driving license.
