The Role

Join the Solar Technical Team to maintain and optimise a portfolio of utility-scale solar farms across Oxfordshire (with travel to neighbouring areas).

You'll work independently, ensuring high performance, safety, and compliance across all sites, while gaining access to training and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on solar PV systems (including HV if qualified)
• Troubleshoot, repair, and report on-site faults and system issues
• Maintain site performance, system efficiency, and general site appearance
• Collaborate with internal LV/HV teams and external contractors
• Ensure health and safety compliance and escalate HSE concerns where needed
• Join the on-call rota (including some weekends and bank holidays)
• Participate in continuous professional development through training and certifications

Qualifications

• C&G 2330 Level 2/3 or equivalent
• 17th or 18th Edition (BS7671)
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Computer literate and confident with basic IT tools

Desirable Extras:

• HV qualifications (AP15 / OP40)
• Inverter/communications/networking experience
• IOSH, NEBOSH, or other HSE certifications
• Experience working on ground-mounted solar farms
