Your Role

We are looking for an Asset Management Intern to join our dynamic team in Madrid.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within the Asset Management department of Exus Renewables. The intern will be actively involved in overseeing renewable energy assets, fostering a culture of safety, and contributing to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supported the supervision of the overall operation of renewable energy projects.
• Assisted in monitoring and analyzing asset performance through SCADA systems.
• Maintained daily communication with site managers and plant operators.
• Contributed to promoting a strong HSE culture and collaborated with the QHSE team.
• Helped coordinate site manager activities, including role definition and planning.
• Assisted in resolving daily operational, contractual, and administrative issues alongside the operations team.
• Collaborated with other departments to align project performance with expectations and identify mitigation actions.
• Participated in the analysis and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Helped prepare monthly project performance reports for internal stakeholders.
• Supported the management and organization of technical documentation.
• Contributed to continuous improvement initiatives through tool and method development.

What You Bring

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at both institutional and corporate levels.
• High proficiency in Spanish and English (spoken and written); knowledge of German, Italian, French, Polish, or Portuguese is a strong asset.
• Currently completing the final academic year of a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• A genuine passion for sustainability and a strong motivation to support and advance renewable energy solutions.
• A collaborative spirit and the initiative to contribute meaningfully in goal-oriented teams.
